SpaceTraveler on the move: New Box in Vancouver

From: Space (Judi@SpaceFamily.net) | Date: 2001-02-20 03:30:26 UTC-05:00

We Took the Train

Planted 2/14/01

Location Vancouver, BC

This box commemorates a trip across Canada in the dead of winter. 2001 taken by a group of 64 intrepid Folkies who shared three days of music musings and memories in the making on the way to Vancouver to attend an international music conference.

Hurtling Westward

Fragile thoughts cocooned in steel

Whose tracks in the snow?

Start at Stanley Park Junction and take the path at 20

Follow it with the tracks to your left until you see a tunnel

Look through the tunnel, then turn and walk 25 paces to the wire fence

Go right at the fence to the place where it bends

See the tree at the bend in the fence, and search in a crevice at the roots.

Please try to make sure you are not followed by curious eyes when you remove, replace and stamp up. This area was deserted when the box was placed, but may be quite crowded on a summer afternoon.

Let me know how the box is doing: Judi@SpaceFamily.net

WOW, Space Traveler!

Thanks a lot. Even more incentive to get back up to Canada now, and what a
great trip that must have been for you! Toronto and Vancouver are both
wonderful cities. Not to mention the incredible beauty you must have
witnessed in-between. We appreciate your placing another British Columbia
box for us to find!

Best regards,

Amanda Briles

Hi Space Traveller

Nice to see you are creating new boxes across Canada too...I'm beginning
to think that you and Mike really do use that flying-saucer

Happy Holidays and Happy Boxing...
